It’s been a fun seven years since the first edition of Cooroy Fusion Festival took place. In 2010, the Sunshine Coast Regional Council enabled the event to highlight the opening of the Library.
Ever since, it has continued on with its mission of highlighting talent, expertise, creativity, innovation and products of the local area. The Festival aims to create greater economic opportunities for local businesses by aiming to attract a broader Sunshine Coast audience to the local area whilst nurturing and supporting vital community partnerships and a strong sense of community belonging.
The Cooroy Fusion Festival has grown exponentially with the continuous support of event partners Noosa Council and the Cooroy Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank. The fusion organising committee headed by its chairman Chris Bell is happy to share that there will be fantastic new additions to the one-day festival.
Several local sponsors are also lending their talent and expertise including: Cooroy Library, Butter Factory Arts Gallery, Noosa District Orchid Society, Camphor Laurel Timber Initiative, Cooroora Woodworkers local food, crafts, arts and entertainment galore!
