April 13-14 – Carnival of the Animals
The Carnival of Animals is a production by Circus Company Circa and QPAC Out of the Box Festival, which will be showing at the Nambour Civic Centre on April 13 and 14th. The Carnival of Animals is a whimsical tale of land sea and sky. Like the popular Circ du Soleil, this is a circus like no other where the players ‘tumble, fly, leap and spin’ on an adventure through the animal kingdom. Tickets can be purchased through the Nambour Civic Centre.
April 13-17 – Pirates of the Ginger Factory
The Ginger Factory is an exciting place for young and old, with a smorgasbord of ginger fun in all its various states of ginger-ness. This school holidays the pirates come to visit the ginger factory, from 11am daily, with Captain Salty in the house, looking to recruit some new pirates for his adventures on the high seas. Bring the kids dressed as pirates for this free entertainment, and learn to talk, sing and dance like a pirate on the Sunshine Coast.
April 26 – The Mooloolaba Mile
The annual Mooloolaba Mile was postponed from February due to weather, so it will be coming to the Sunshine Coast on April 26th, with Series Ambassador Michael Klim at the start line. If swimming is your forte why not check out the Mooloolaba Mile as a spectator or entrant, and show the Sunshine Coast what you’ve got!
